Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those affected with bleeding disorders

As the President and CEO of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF), I have the privilege of witnessing the profound impact our work has on the lives of individuals and families living with bleeding disorders. It’s a responsibility I carry deep in my heart, and I am constantly reminded that our success in educating, advocating, and funding critical research is only possible because of compassionate supporters like you.

Today, I want to share why your donation to NBDF and this very special event, Rhythm & Ques, is so important—not just to our mission, but to the countless individuals who rely on us for hope and help.

Every donation, no matter its size, fuels our ability to create a better future. It empowers us to educate families overwhelmed by a new diagnosis, provide them with life-saving resources, and connect them to a community that understands their struggles. Your support helps us advocate for policies that ensure access to treatments and care for those who need it most. And it advances groundbreaking research that brings us closer to cures, one discovery at a time.

My dear friend, Kelly Wornall, who serves as an outstanding member of our NBDF National Board of Directors, is hosting a new fundraiser to support NBDF because she understands firsthand the life-changing impact of our work. She knows that when you give, you are not just making a donation—you are changing a life.

I invite you to join us in this important mission by participating and donating generously to Rhythm & Ques! Your generosity provides an individual with the tools they need to stay healthy, funds research that will change the landscape of treatment, and gives a family the hope they’ve been searching for through access to expert clinical care. Together, we can make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

Thank you for caring, for giving, and for believing in the power of this community. We simply cannot do this without you.

With gratitude and hope,
Phil Gattone

Our Vision

Our vision aligns with the mission of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF): to create a world where individuals with bleeding disorders thrive. Through events like Rhythm and Que's, we strive to foster an empowered community, advocate for access to quality care, and support innovative research that improves lives. Together, we are working toward a future of better health and boundless opportunities for all those impacted by bleeding disorders.

Hi!  I'm Frances!  The phrase "you are one in a million" has been romanticized for years to mean you are special. However, as an individual with an ultra rare bleeding disorder, being "one in a million" has been synonymous with feeling alone and misunderstood for most of my life. In fact, I was 27 years old when I first saw a brochure explaining what Factor V Deficiency was and I had never felt more seen! And, where did I see this brochure? At the NBDF's 2022 National Conference in Texas. Ever since then, I have understood the importance of having a place where I can go and people not only understand what I live with but also strive to work towards finding better treatment, representation and education for all of us. A donation to the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation is the first step towards guaranteeing that we have the access to proper education and the

resources needed to be better advocates for ourselves and our community.

Hi! I’m Ryan, and I have a bleeding disorder called von Willebrand Disease. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 14. Growing up, my family and I didn’t realize my bleeding issues were part of a larger condition. Education and awareness could’ve made all the difference.

That’s why your support of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) matters so much. Every contribution helps us move closer to a world without bleeding disorders. Together, we can inspire hope and change lives.
